At In-N-Out, we are passionate about nourishing young minds through imagination, education, and delicious food. Our Cover to Cover program is designed to provide libraries additional tools and incentives for children to develop and foster a love of reading.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE
Children between the ages of 4 and 12 are eligible to participate. Parents or guardians may read with children who are not yet reading
HOW TO REGISTER
In order to minimize exposure risks due to the pandemic, registration will be done on this website. Parents are encouraged to create a parent account by choosing [Myself + Other Readers], but children can sign up on their own by choosing [Myself]. Parents should NOT choose a program when creating their primary account. Parents WILL need to choose the [In-N-Out Burger – Cover to Cover Club] program after entering the age for each child participant. Children registering on their own WILL need to enter their age and choose the [In-N-Out Burger – Cover to Cover Club] program. Please contact the library if you need assistance registering or if you would like to participate but do not have internet access.
HOW TO EARN A REWARD CERTIFICATE
Each participating child must read five books at their reading level to earn a Cover to Cover Achievement award, valid for a free hamburger or cheeseburger. Once the logging date for the program is reached, participants simply need to log the names of the books they have completed on this site and will be awarded a “badge” for every fifth book they log for a maximum of 15 books at which point they will have earned the maximum of 3 certificates.
HOW TO CLAIM CERTIFICATE(S)
To claim certificates children will need to visit the library with their parents. Parents will be asked to sign on a verification card for each set of five books the child has read. The library staff will then issue the certificates to the child. Once again to minimize exposure risks we request that the certificates be picked up after all three have been earned or the last day of logging has passed. Remember, certificates need to be picked up by Saturday, April 24th, 2021. Certificates will only be awarded while supplies last.
